Renowned author and editor Christine Chaillot from Geneva, Switzerland, who has written several books and articles on the life and spirituality of the Oriental Orthodox Churches, as well as on the dialogue between the Oriental and Eastern Orthodox Churches, recently visited the Orthodox School of Theology at Trinity College on a tour to present her latest book.

The Orthodox School of Theology at Trinity College together with the Orthodox Christian Fellowship at U of T hosted a panel discussion on 7 March 2017 on the topic "Resurrection of Logos - The Divine, the Individual and Finding Our Bearings in a Postmodern World".

Mayo Moran, Provost and Vice-Chancellor of Trinity College, announced that June 30, 2017, will mark the end of David Neelands' third term as Dean of the Faculty of Divinity, a position he has held since July 1, 2002. During that period, David contributed in many ways to strengthening the academic and spiritual wellbeing of the Trinity Faculty and community.

Professor Paul Ladouceur presented a paper on “Neo-Traditionalism in Contemporary Orthodoxy” at the annual conference of the Orthodox Theological Society in America on the theme “Crete 2016: Post-Conciliar Reflections.” The conference was held from September 29 to October 1, 2016, at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Seminary in Brookline, Massachusetts.

The Orthodox School of Theology at Trinity College welcomes the announcement that the Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Institute of Eastern Christian Studies will be relocating from Ottawa to St Michael's College, University of Toronto, in July 2017.

The Sign of the Theotokos Orthodox Church in Montréal is presenting a series of adult education lectures entitled "The Holy and Great Council of the Orthodox Church - Pentecost 2016".

The Orthodox School of Theology's co-director, Professor Richard Schneider, a specialist in iconology, has been involved in coordinating a new Sacred Arts Initiative at St Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary in New York.

On Saturday 16 April, His Grace Bishop Maxim of the Western American Diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church visited the Orthodox School of Theology at Trinity College and presented a new book published within his diocese entitled The Christian Heritage of Kosovo and Metohija: The Historical and Spiritual Heartland of the Serbian People.

One of the Orthodox School of Theology at Trinity College's MDiv students, Jasper Bendici, is currently crossing the country as keynote speaker at a series of regional youth assemblies in the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Canada.
